Thank you for providing more information about Adoration Convent, Karimani. It is impressive to learn about the establishment and growth of the convent since its beginning in 1995. The sisters initially lived in a small cottage of the CST Congregation in Karimani to carry out their religious practices and provide spiritual guidance to the people. It's noteworthy that the sisters took the initiative to purchase 4 acres and 20 cents of land from Mr. Sreedharan Maniyampara, which provided a permanent space for the convent. Sister Tresa became the Superior and Sister Janet took on the role of Accountant during this time. The consecration of the convent took place on August 15, 1998, led by Mar Jacob Thukuzhy, the Bishop of Mananthavady. Several notable figures, including Father Joseph Kaniyampattathil, Father Thomas Mulagattil CST, Father Paul Olikkal, and Father Mathew Paikkatt, participated in the consecration ceremony. Sister Maria Malana later became the Superior. In 2000, the convent was selected as a formation house, and Sister Jose Mary became the Novice Directress, guiding 11 novices. General Superior and Provincial Superior also visited the convent to provide guidance and information. It is worth mentioning that Sister Tomsitta, who was trained as a homeopath, served the people in the area for a long time. The convent also had a nursery school and the sisters actively contributed to the activities of the parish, showing their love and support not only for the parishioners but also for people of other religions. Overall, the Adoration Convent in Karimani has made significant contributions to the community and continues to provide spiritual guidance and support to people of various faiths.
